Young people with lived experience in foster care know firsthand what works, what doesn’t, and what needs to change.

That’s why it’s so important Lived Experience (LEx) Leaders be at the forefront alongside national partners and child welfare leaders. And that’s exactly what’s going to happen May 17th through 20th.

Five FosterClub LEx Leaders will be meeting with members of Congress to talk about the national calls to action within the Playbook they co-designed, Improving Outcomes for Young Adults and the Systems That Serve Them: A Playbook of Best Practices. Alongside them will be child welfare leaders from across the country and partners of the National Collaborative for Transition-Age Youth all united around the same goal: making sure young people transitioning to adulthood get the support they deserve, when they need it most.
