Alpha Xi Delta Chapter Raises $1,140 for Foster Youth Through “Xi Games” Philanthropy Event
Members of Alpha Xi Delta’s Iota Chi Chapter at Temple University recently hosted their first-ever "Xi Games," a field day-style philanthropy event that brought students together for a day of energy, teamwork, and impact. As the chapter’s largest philanthropy event of the year, the day raised $1,140 in support of FosterClub through Alpha Xi Delta’s Kindly Hearts Initiative.
The event featured a full lineup of classic field day games, including dodgeball, relay races, capture the flag, freeze tag, kickball, and cornhole. Alpha Xi Delta members served as referees throughout the day and hosted food and drink sales, creating a fun and welcoming environment for participants and spectators alike.
Beyond the competition, the event centered on building awareness and support for young people in foster care. Funds raised will help FosterClub continue its work empowering youth to navigate the system, build peer connections, and play an active role in shaping the future of foster care.
FosterClub is grateful to the Iota Chi Chapter for their creativity, leadership, and commitment to making a difference.
